Since I’ve been pregnant Raylan has been ALL about Mommy! He’s so super attached and in love with ❤️❤️Mommy!

I was putting together a video for pregnancy modifications and he was being such a lover❤️ usually he just shows off for the camera 🤩😎 Has anyone else experienced this with their toddler when they got pregnant again?

I’m enjoying every single second of it:) I’m actually going to take off one day of work starting next week so I can stay home and just spend some time with him before the baby’s born. I’m so excited!

Workout to reduce hip dips

The cause of Hip dips

They occur where the skin is tethered, or attached, to the deeper part of your thigh bone, called the trochanter. They are more noticeable in some people, due to the amount and distribution of fat and muscle in the body structure. Hips dips can be more or less prominent depending on the width of the hips and the shape of the pelvis as well as the distribution of the body fat. They can also be more apparent when wearing certain types of clothing.

Exercises that minimise hip dips

1️⃣ Courtesy lunges: 10 reps⁣ x 3 sets
2️⃣ Side leg raises: 15 reps x 3 sets
3️⃣ Leg swing: 10 reps x 3 sets
4️⃣Fire hydrant: 15 reps x 3 sets

There’s a lot of hype around goals, goal setting and what’s ‘effective’. .

Over the last decade, this list on the right and below is what I’ve found actually helps people follow through on their goals (and sustain the habits and mindset long term). .
.
⤴️ Set tiny habits - I’m a fan of setting big goals, don’t get me wrong. But nothing happens when we just focus on the big stuff, the results come from doing the tiny habits each day. So rather than committing to the next 10 session per week Instagram workout program, just start by tying your shoes, or just doing 2 push ups or walking for just 5min. .
.
😊 Accountability is great, but not if it’s more like an angry boss breathing down your neck all day making you feel small and thus further perpetuating the ‘I’m a failure’ identity. Find a coach, a good friend or a circle of like-minded people who encourage and support you, treat you like a human, give you a nudge when you need it but are there to pat you on the back when you achieve your tiny habits to! .
.
🧘🏼‍♀️ Be flexible - Plans are great (I’m the to-do list king 👑) and I believe in structure and creating a good process to achieve your goals. But to make it stick long term, and when you’re not an Olympic athlete solely focused on 1 thing, life needs to be considered. So have a plan B and C, have some flexibility in your training routine and meal options (this applies to whatever it is you’re working toward outside of fitness). .
.
❤️ Be kind to yourself - you won’t be perfect everyday, you’ll stuff up, life will happen. But following up a little over-indulgence with a week of killing yourself in the gym does not help you do more of what’s needed, it just further enhances any unhealthy relationship you might have with food, exercise or over-working. .

Good ole mirror pic before I hit some upper body!⁣
Training my upper body isn't my favorite, but it has definitely grown so much on me in the past year!!⏰ ⁣

I started off not really working out any upper body muscles at all, just because I wasn't really interested in growing those muscles at the time and was more focused on leg, glutes, & core work.⁣

I then began to train upper body about once a week, and I would train all upper body muscles in the same day. It worked fine for me at the time, but eventually I realized I wanted to start adding more exercises in for certain muscles, and I was then spending too much time at the gym on these upper body days.⁣

Noooww, I split my upper body days into two days... 1 for triceps, chest & shoulders (my kind of push day) and the other for back & biceps (my kind of pull day). Making this switch allowed me to focus more on individual muscles groups during a workout instead of working a bunch at once. I also have more time during a workout to get more sets and exercises in to target specific upper body muscles.⁣

Everyone trains different & has a specific style that works for them, but just thought I'd share since I have really loved the switch to splitting it into two days! It definitely has me feeling better leaving my workouts knowing I spent more time targeting fewer muscles groups in a workout for more growth!💪🏼⁣

Hey, friends!

It’s time to get drillin’ again with #drillzforthrillz ! I went a bit rogue today, but @bowlingandyoga presented us with a great detailed post on dolphin pushups, and @leighyogipilot and @jadebellyyoga both have amazing contributions as well.
Regardless of which drill(s) you choose, you’ll be sure to get some fired up shoulders from these exercises. 🔥 🔥! I forgot the block between hands drill, but I did present chin to fists and face to floor. I only had my foam roller nearby and wow this was a wicked way to engage the core, and even more so to raise one leg. 5-10 reps of each one will be plenty, but feel free to level up with some sets.
I also added some pincha pushups if you’re up for the challenge. I usually do these in stag or scorpion assuming it’s easier, but I kept toppling over, so straight legs it was!

❤️Throwback Thursday to my 9 months in and 9 months out photo shoot.

My sweetest gift, my sweet son. This was such a fun photo shoot to do because I remember wondering what my baby boy was going to look like and who he was going to be. If I had known then what I know now my heart would have exploded.

As a Mommy that works full time it’s so hard for me missing out on parts of his life. I’m so grateful for my time with him and I don’t want to miss anymore time with him than I have to. It’s a struggle I know for all Mommy’s to find balance and that gives my heart peace.

This is the biggest question I get.⁣

How i’m able to manage working a full time 9-6 job, commuting 2+ hours to and from that job, an online coaching business, staying consistent with my workouts and nutrition, and basically still having a life. ⁣

You know what I say to that? ⁣

STOP DOUBTING YOURSELF! ⁣

Who says you are not able to do it?⁣
Who says you can’t manage it? ⁣
Who says you are not capable? ⁣

You need to leave those excuses behind! ⁣
They are not serving you at all!⁣

The moment you leave those excuses and negative opinions you will realize the potential you have! ⁣

Here’s a fun, challenging HIIT circuit to try 🏃🏽‍♀️💦 This would be a great burnout at the end of a workout, just as I did.
For those of you who get bored of other types of cardio, these types of HIIT circuits will definitely keep you on your toes!
Remember with HIIT the goal is to have your heart rate at its MAX, so work as hard as you can! Try going all out for 40 seconds and resting for 35 seconds, for a total of 10 minutes. 🌟 For beginners, you can start with doing each exercise for 20 seconds and resting for 55 seconds- still for a total of 10 minutes 😄

Have you ever been stuck in your past? Stuck thinking about what you didn’t do, what you should have done, or having negative thoughts about yourself? I’ve been going so hard focusing on my fitness & nutrition that it’s draining all the energy I need to run my business. & the more I don’t work on my business the more the negative thoughts creep into my head & I feel guilty for needing to rest or spending time with my family instead of working my business. My mind is a madhouse right now. 🥴 .

I know that being stuck in my past failures & mistakes is nothing but a trick of the enemy. You see the Devil only wants what’s valuable...that’s why he’s trying so hard to hold onto my mind. He knows what I am capable of. He knows I’m going to use my business to help multitudes of women to change their lives. & he knows that God is going to get the GLORY. That is why the Devil is mad & is trying to hold me in the bondage of a negative mindset. Well I have news for him...I’M FREE!!! Whatever I declare shall be done in the name of Jesus.
