I did some Stuffed Shells last week and they got 5/5 ⭐️ even if the pic don’t show it! 🤤

Ingredients:
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 red onion
- 500g ricotta
- 1 egg
- spinach - 500g pasta shells
- mozzarella
.
How to:
- preheat oven to 220C.
- boil the shells with some oil according to packet instructions.
- mix ricotta, garlic, spinach and egg in a bowl.
- cut the onion and garlic and fry them until golden. Then add the crushed tomato and tomato sauce and seasoning and let it simmer for a bit.
- once the sauce is done put a layer in a ovenproof dish and then start placing filled shells on the bottom until the dish is full.
- cover the filled shells with the rest of the sauce and then sprinkle the mozzarella over it.
- cover with aluminum foil and place in the over for 30 minute and then uncover and broil for another 10-15 minutes.

Hey guys!! So sorry for being a bit inactive, but as you know I am on holiday and trying to relax as much as I can. As much as I enjoy routines, sometimes taking a break from the busy and usual life is so needed. 🌴
Don’t get me wrong, I still need to understand this myself... it’s not east to allow yourself to relax and let go a bit... i struggle a lot with that, but I am really trying to keep a positive mindset and understand that it’s okay to take breaks. I wasn’t feeling good so I kept this workout short, it took me around 35-40 min to complete. •
Do these in a circuit. You can break them into 3-4 exercises or all of them in one giant circuit, but the goal is to do each exercise with little to no break in between until the round is completed.
1️⃣ Lunge Hold w/ Bicep Curl into Single Arm Shoulder Press. 3x8. This is also good for your core, keep it tight to support your back & don’t let your knee touch the floor.
2️⃣ Squat into Shoulder Press. 3x12. Keep your core tight to support your back during the transition into shoulder press.
3️⃣ Plank w/ Shoulder Taps. 15 sec hold, as many shoulder taps as I could do while keeping control(8-10). 4️⃣Knee Tuck Sit Up. 3x12. Focus on squeezing the area under your bellybutton, not sucking it in. Only extend your legs as far out as you can control your core.
5️⃣Alternating Weighted Squat Jumps w/ Body Weight Squat Jumps. 3x12. Keep core engaged & spine neutral especially when grabbing the weight to go into the weighted squat jump.
6️⃣Alternating Side Lunges. 3x10.
7️⃣Hammer Curl into Front Shoulder Press. 3x10-12. Sorry for mean-mugging the camera, I was checking my form. 👀

I'm ready to get involved in Major League Baseball now😂

I got this urge to try throw a ball through all 4 windows of 2 moving cars . We will call it the #tennisballchallenge 😂

No better man to do it with @movlogs took out his Ferrari and Lamborghini and we started throwing balls 😂

It was actually a really tough shot because both cars are so low. They have different shape windows and @movlogs has a big head 😉 so it meant the gap for the ball to actually go through was tiny ! Delighted that we got the shot. Even though we had to slow the cars more than I would have liked.

Många frågar mig hur jag kan träna så mycket 😂 Anledning är att träningen är som meditation för mig. När jag står och kör mina övningar känner jag mig bortkopplad från all stress. Jag känner ingen negativ energi eller negativa tankar. Jag bara är där och tänker på övningen jag kör. Jag tänker på hur varje rep känns, gör jag fel, gör det ont, får jag rätt kontakt men oxå själva andningen. Styrketräning bidrar mycket till att få bättre självförtroende eftersom med tiden behöver du säga till dig själv "du kan" för att med självsäkerhet lyfta vikten, hålla formen och få rätt kontakt.
Självklart är det oxå motiverande när jag ser resultat men huvudanledningen till varför jag tränar så mycket är just den mentala känslan. .

It’s hard to stay on top of plan when you want to celebrate with your best half but, having someone who is supportive of your goals and diet plans is the best kind to support you need. You can enjoy days that you want to celebrate and still get back on track, our weekend consisted of a lovely meal and time together but, we still managed to get back to the gym and train the next day! I was 50/50 with the gym but he encouraged me to go and I felt so much better after. He taught me some real new exercises and tips to help my technique and form! It really depends how you are. Some people prefer to derive their motivation from within. Some people feed off a group energy. They are both good and both work

You need to find what works best for you

If you love to put in your earphones, pump yourself up, and crush your workout alone, then you are a lone wolf 💪

1. Drink a glass of water (you may simply be thirsty)⁣⁠

2. Eat a healthy snack.⁣⁠
(If the water didn’t work, you may be hungry. Choose some nuts or your favourite fruit first.)⁣⁠

3. Limit caffeine and alcohol.⁣⁠
(Both are diuretics which promote dehydration and can increase cravings. Caffeine (stimulant) elevates cortisol and insulin, both of which increase appetite & cravings & promote weight gain. Alcohol (depressant) increases appetite & enhances sugar cravings for a ‘pick-me-up’.)⁣⁠

4. Go for a walk/run.⁣⁠
(Release some endorphins and forget about the sugar-craving for a bit.)⁣⁠

CONTEXT is everything, low reps and big weights might make you strong, but that doesn’t necessary make you bigger. Getting stronger progressively following a specific program (in addition to caloric surplus etc.) will make you bigger. Same as high reps with smaller weights, don’t necessarily make you lose fat (as the myth south sometimes suggest) but can actually make you build muscle if done in the right way.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
This is the same with exercise execution.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My deadlifts are the perfect example, I’ve always executed them with strict form in mind to engage and target the specific muscles I wanted, without using momentum or leverages to help.

However, this is not optimal now that I’m doing powerlifting. I’m basically having to relearn a completely new way to do the exercises. Which I love, because it’s always exciting to me to learn something new right from the beginning and seeing how far you can progress.

I am keeping a photo diary of my weekly progress and here are this week's check in photos. Not much difference from last week but I had another small drop in weight.

Last week was a tough week, as mentioned in a previous post. But thanks to my amazing coach she pointed out that despite me saying it was appalling, I: - lost 0.4kg
- kept my steps higher than goal
- felt guilty about intensity of training so trained more than required to
- stuck to nutrition plan
- condition looks awesome

And when I see that written down I think, ok so it wasn't such a bad week after all! I am my own worst critic, so tough on myself. When I am passionate about something I want to give it my best at all times, even when motivation is low. But I stuck in there and got through it, and now I can give myself a pat on the back.

🤯 Have I gone Vegan!? For someone who has been eating alot of meat during my Transformation of my physique has obviously worked. But did I feel good throughout the day? No. I lack energy randomly mid day and feel real sluggish sometimes. Not saying all the time but more than I should. That's caused by the source / type of food I consumed.

I've just finished watching a documentary about Plant based diets Vs Meat based diets and the outcomes are mind blowing!

The studies shown from both meat / plant eaters only after only 1 day is insane. And continuous plant based diet results look extraordinary. And I for one am going to give this a go!
I will let you decide for yourself. Watch 'The game changers' on Netflix.
It's opened my eyes to what I put in my body from now on!
